YOUTH MINISTRY MISSION
Upon accepting the Holy Father's challenge, we will focus the church's ministry with adolescents on three essential goals:

1. Empowering young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today
2. Drawing young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the faith community
3. Fostering the personal and spiritual growth of each young person

To accomplish these goals it will take the people and resources of the entire Church.  Our program will offer the practical frame work for utilizing the resources of the entire faith community and integrating ministry with adolescents and their families into the total life and mission of the church.

Anyone in our parish interested in being a part of this exciting new Ministry to work with our youth, please contact our Youth Ministry Directors, Dan Sevigny at

October 29, 2017 - All Saints Day Celebration
What is All Saints' Day? Also known as All Hallows' Day, Feast of All Saints, or Solemnity of All Saints, is a Christian festival celebrated in honor of all the saints, known and unknown.
The Youth Ministry celebrated All Saint's Day by learning about the Saints of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.  We played All Saints Day Scavenger Hunt in the Church and then finished with an All Saints Day Jeopardy Game. Our Youth knows a lot about Saints!!  What do you know about our Saints at St. Stanislaus?

September 2017 - Heart of God Series
God’s heart is for you.
Throughout sacred Scripture, God’s heart and love is referenced and implied. People have argued that all of Scripture is one big love story – God’s love story – about us.

Our hope is that, by prayerfully entering into this theme, our hearts would become hearts that chase after God. We will pray that our hearts could be like King David:
"[God] raised up David to be their king; of whom he testified and said, ‘I have found in David the son of Jesse a man after my heart, who will do all my will." (Acts 13:22)

Our prayer is that this year will be transformative for your teens, our parish, and your heart. One day, the light of God will reveal the direction and intention of our heart (1 Corinthians 4:5). May we be found chasing after God’s heart… only to realize that God, in His infinite mercy, has been chasing us for far longer.

The Washing of the Disciples' Feet at the Lord's Last Supper - John 13:1-17
"Do you realize what I have done for you? You call me "teacher" and "master," and rightly so, for indeed I am.  If I, therefore, the master and teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash one another's feet. I have given you a model to follow, so that as I have done for you, you should also do. Amen, amen, I say to you, no slave is greater than his master nor any messenger greater than the one who sent him. If you understand this, blessed are you if you do it. - John 13: 12-17
