Homebound Ministry

We are always in need of Ministers of the Holy Eucharist.  If you would like to become a member of the Homebound Ministry and take the Holy Eucharist to those who are unable to come to Mass, please contact Michelle at the Parish Office at (830) 460-4712. We will provide you with training, supplies, and on site shadowing.

**If you or a family member are in need of receiving the Homebound Ministry services please contact Michelle at the Parish Office at (830) 460-4712.  Requests to receive the Holy Eucharist must made by the person wanting to receive or an immediate family member.

Our Homebound Ministry is a very important and rewarding Ministry in our Parish. Our ministry members are responsible for taking the Holy Eucharist to our parishioners and fellow Catholics in our Parish area who have been admitted to our local care facilities or home bound and are unable to attend weekly Mass temporarily or permanently due to illness or injury.

The St. Stanislaus/St. Victor Homebound Ministry serves the Bandera/Pipe Creek/Lakehills areas.  The Holy Eucharist is taken to Cedar Creek Nursing Home, Bandera Rehabilitation Center, and home bound Catholics every Friday morning around 9:00am.  An up-to-date list of recipients is provided every week and the lists are divided into 3 groups, Bandera Rehab, Cedar Creek Nursing Home, and in Town (Bandera) residents along with those residents who live just out side of the town of Bandera. St. Victor Ministers visit residents who live in the Lakehills area.

Training and shadowing will be provided to new Ministry members. To sign up please call Michelle at the office (830) 460-4712 and we will get you set up to begin training with one of our current ministers.
