His Holy Face Rosary Makers

The original group was founded by Veronica Quintana in 2011 with donations from several interested church members. The mission is to provide interested parishioners with the minimal training required to assemble a Mission Rosary and to provide the materials to do so at no cost.  The completed Rosaries are collected each month, then given out to other ministries such as the Prayer Blanket Ministry and St. Vincent de Paul Society, to include in their outreach.  Additionally, the rosaries are placed in the Vestibules of St. Stanislaus and St. Victor Churches for parishioners and guests to take at no charge. Lastly, many of the rosaries are bundled in groups of 100, then sent out to Missions around the United States and the world. All Rosaries are blessed before sent out for use. Because our group is only financed through donations and occasional financial gifts from the Knights of Columbus, we find sponsors to pay for mailing when it is needed, so that all the money donated can be used for the rosary supplies. Our supplies are purchased through Our Lady's Rosary Makers, who provide all Mission Rosary supplies at cost or below through financial subsidies they receive.
The ladies involved in His Holy Face Rosary Makers are, as pictured from left to right: Mary Clements, Linda McLaughlin, Albina Butler, Pat Koehler, Mary Stein, and Josephine Megerle.
